Scholarship Fund Program

Summary

The Bloomingdale Civic Association Scholarship Fund Program (hereinafter known as the Scholarship Fund Program) was established by the President, the Executive Board, Education Committee members and the general membership of the Bloomingdale Civic Association, Inc.

The Scholarship Fund Program encourages and promotes academic achievement, leadership, community involvement and life-long pursuit of excellence among young adults who reside in the Ward 5 Bloomingdale community.

The Scholarship Fund Program will make annual grant awards that help defray the rising cost of tuition for admission into post-secondary educational institutions, and will provide support for the purchase of educational equipment, supplies and materials.

The following description sets forth the general terms and conditions for participation in the Scholarship Fund Program. Any grants awarded by the Scholarship Fund Program to eligible students shall be subject to the terms and conditions set forth in this description.

Terms and Conditions

1. All applicants shall reside in the Ward 5 Bloomingdale community. The boundaries of the Bloomingdale community are -- North Capitol Street NW on the east; Michigan Avenue NW on the north; Second Street NW to the west; and Florida Avenue NW on the south.
2.
